We are so excited to be a part of history. For our 2nd Ann. Joy and I are going to Paris to be some of the first people to experience dinner in the sky! Check it out, anyone want to come with us? Gino, mom said you can come with us for your honeymoon. 🙂 I think it’s looks like tons of fun.
PS. Remember the tube that was so big it doubled as a kite? They were banned from Lake Powell b/c two people died when they fell off mid flight.

Happy 4th of July + McUpdate
Well Happy Independence Day! I was very moved today when we sang the star spangled banner. I really really like the less sung 2nd and 3rd verse. So with this post I honor all those who have served and do serve this God blessed country.
McUpdate- We have been busy with life. I’ve been working hard, we have been busy securing BYU.com and creating a business plan to try to make millions off the advertisers trying to reach BYU students. We’ll let you know how that turns out. Thursday and Friday of this week I went up to Park City to help out my buddy from high school, Brad Porterfield, with some photography of a company he works with. That was tons of fun. For anyone who cares, Brad is doing well, although a little thicker 🙂 and is an accountant for a company called MediFast. Meanwhile, Joy is SO happy at home with Chase; she never gets bored. She enjoyed coming to Park City with me on Friday night… Chase is about 14 pounds now and is trying to walk. He doesn’t like falling asleep and is continuing the tradition of soiling his church outfit before church. We also really enjoyed watching fireworks with Mike and Amy and Kaylee on Sat night. In Provo the BYU stadium throws a big fireworks show and we liked it.
P.S. there are a few new photos in the random album that are worth checking out
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Chase Update
Our child, Chase, has been doing pretty well at sleeping longer amounts of time at night! It’s great. Well, he often gets up once or twice in the night to eat, but sometimes he sleeps for 6-7 hours straight, which is a relief to me! I am somewhat normal these days, rather than the exhausted zombie I was for the first several weeks of Chase’s life. Overall, he’s a pretty chill baby (as long as we hold him for he majority of the day) and we are really grateful for that. He will be 8 weeks old this Friday! His hair seems to be getting a little darker and he makes lots of cooing sounds that are adorable. He has smiled a few times now, but we are awaiting the day when we’ll see lots of smiles and laughs coming from that kid! But for now, he is chubby and cute as can be.
May McUpdate
We’ve been doing very well here in the McCulloch family. The weekend is always nice, we got to hang out with people Joy knows from her Costa Rica group. And hang out with Brad & Tiffany, and Darin & Nada, we had lots of fun and Tiffany can make good cookies. I wanted to share this video with you of Chase, it’s so cute I even put it into quicktime to make sure everyone is able to see it. A good story, I came home during church to change Chase’s explosive poopy diaper, and change his clothes. On the walk back we were passing a lady walking a weiner dog… as soon as the weiner was in range he jumped as high as he could and bit me on the leg… so now I have a bruise half way up my calf from where the dog clamped down on me… I don’t think he broke the skin thank goodness. The lady didn’t have much to say except “BAD DOG”.
We also wanted to say thank you to all ya’ll who read and post. You make this lil McBlog a fun place to check out. It really brings us happiness to see people participate.
The Jedi Returns
Hello again, we are back after a long eventful week. We’ve been busy with work, Chase, helping people, Chase, finding money to buy a town home, Chase, family, Chase, and taking care of the baby. We are really excited to have our families in town. Why are they in town you ask? Well tom is the day we bless Chase. He is very excited, and so are we. Just wanted to post something, will post more later.
Great Saturday
Well, it’s been a very eventful Saturday, it was absoultely beautiful here in Provo. Yesterday, we setup a new queen sized bed that we inherited from the late Uncle Don (on Joy’s side). Today, Darin and I hit the golf course area to practice our chipping and putting (that’s free), Chase had his first bath (video MPEG 7MB), and he loved it, excpet when it was time to get out. And our offer to buy Amy and Mike’s townhome was accepted! Woo hoo. We are very excited to get all the paper work done and be investing in real estate. We feel it’s a great place to put our efforts. So all and all it’s been a great weekend. We are excited for all the family fun coming up in the next week. Love ya’ll have a great sabath. PS For those of you who wish there were more pictures of Chase to see, there are now.
More photos
For those of you proud great/grandparents/friends out there who want to make mouse pads, desktops, calendars, etc., you can download high-resolution picts now. Plus we added a few more. Thanks for all the support and love. We’re excited to report that Chase lost his belly button chunk yesterday and he is drinking milk now. He’s very mellow, lets hope that continues through his teenage years!
Momma T arrives
We are very happy to have Momma T here. She arrived last night and I had the best night of sleep since Chase arrived. Didn’t hear Chase one time! I realized how true the saying is that it takes a village to raise a kid. It sure is a lot more comfortable having someone who knows tricks of the trade around. Thanks Momma T!
A new video on the day Chase entered mortality is available to view, it captures moments of the past weekend as Chase was delivered and brought home. There are two versions, a broadband .WMV at 40MB and a dialup .MOV version at 2MB. Enjoy and if you’re scared of the medical lingo in the audio, then turn off your speakers.
Otherwise, Joy is healing and doing well, and Chase is doing great. He had his first poop since he’s been home. We are proud. We’ve had lots of visitors and wanted to thank everyone who has taken time to hold him for us. Thank you!
Love ya’ll
UPDATE: It was just too cute today when Chase said hello, here it is for all ya’ll to enjoy. This one is 10MB .MPG so will play in either windows media player or quicktime (Just for you McGrandpa)
To Vegas or not to Vegas
Here is an update to raise more questions for our life. Bizsight Communications (Pace’s possible employer) is in the process of attaining an office in Orem, Utah. This means that we will either still move to Vegas to work there, or stay in Utah Valley area to work at the Orem office. Very interesting. Stay tuned to see what happens.
