Today as our four year old class was coloring pictures based on our lesson on baptism, one small boy colored his picture all with only the color yellow. Then he turned and held his picture high saying: “It’s overflowing with pee!” As we tried to smother our chuckling, another boy quickly chimed in, “Pee from the toilet”.
Tonight we had the pleasure of having Jason McGowan cook dinner for us. He made a very delicious chicken dinner. It was so moist and tender, I was amazed. Rachel you better get to Utah fast if you’re going to catch this one! Maybe Jason will post his secret…
I am really thrilled right now because I feel a great weight lifted off my shoulders. You see, I have had a large trial in my life, that trial being wavy, thick hair that cannot be tamed by a typical flat iron. I have bought many a straightener in my time, only to be disgusted and dismayed by the amount of time and effort it took to tame these locks. I have had to return them, get rid of them, etc., with a great lump of sorrow in my throat. But don’t worry any longer. All my problems are now solved, because Pace bought me something I have desired for many years: a Farouk Chi Turbo 1″ flat iron, brand new off EBay! I love it. I just used it and my hair was completely pin straight after about 5 minutes’ work, versus about 20 minutes that it used to take me. The main differences between this and a regular flat iron are that it’s 100% ceramic, it’s very durable, it heats up really fast, and it gets really hot so no waviness will be left behind after its job is finished. Pulled a long night adding voice overs to VegasBrides.com sales videos. Jason McG was doing the voice overs and ladies I’ve found out that midnight is when he can no longer smooth talk. Listen to him try to say a simple website name.

What a great V-day! I have to tell everyone I have a great wife. I only gave Joy a spanking clean kitchen, and a full body massage. She gave me, a BLT sandwich, a pedicure, and a full game of me vs. her in TANKS. Wow it was amazing! We had such a fun time playing this stupid game from the 70’s that Yancy had posted on his site. So in honor of V-day, I’m posting on here as well. I told Joy that since we had so much fun yesterday we’ll have to celebrate D-day too.
Joy got a phone call this morning telling her that her glucose levels were normal. Which means she does not have gestational diabetes, you can spell that however you want, I did. So we are happy and you can be too.
Today Darin, Joy, and I went golfing at the Provo city golf course. Joy just drove the golf cart, which I think she enjoy more than she wants to admit. It was my first time playing golf in a long time, only my second time ever actually, and I found it very enjoyable, especially because we capped the strokes at 8 like in mini golf. But in all fairness I did manage to beat Darin on one hole which I’m very proud of, he took five strokes and I took four. Other than that he smoked me, but we (or at least I) had a very good time. Darin smashed his club into the ground only twice that I saw… and we only lost 7 or eight balls between the two of us, I think. The reason we went was b/c it was only $6 and the weather was very nice, but by the end of the nine holes we were freezing because the sun had started to go down. I now feel a passion to practive and spend money on this sport, mom and dad sell that hockey equipment so I can buy some golf clubs! As soon as I have a fathers day where I get useless golf game improvement things, I will truely be a Dad.
