Just in time to catch this youtube video before leaving for home… I liked this song. Well done random guy. Is it me or does UK have better “you’ve got talent” than us..

We love IKEA. With their practical solutions, charming Swedish names, and low prices, I don’t know many people who WOULDN’T love that place. I especially love it now that Chase can go in the kids’ play area, “Smaland,” for one hour while we shop. He gets to have fun while we get to actually focus on the shopping task at hand (and perhaps buy more? simply brilliant).

This time at IKEA, we got a large bookshelf for Chase’s room. I don’t think that his Grandma T. (extreme book lover and former bookstore owner) will ever stop buying him books (which is QUITE alright with me, since I enjoy a lot of kids’ books myself). So now, we have a place for all those books and toys to live. We don’t have the bookshelf filled up yet, but that’s a good thing.

And don’t worry, my amazing MAN-husband has not only assembled it in record time, but he’s also cut out the bottom edge to accommodate our oversized baseboards, bolted it into the stud for my peace of mind, and has also taught Chase that if he climbs on it, he may eventually be crushed. So thorough!

Dear Your Mom, that’s a tough question, thanks for asking. First lets start with why that’s a harder question than you think. You see there are so many different type of gamers, and considering you used the name mom, I’m guessing you won’t be playing this thing the most. SO lets consider the only two options there are b/c we’re going to ignore overpriced gaming computers stuffed into a PS3 box. You could buy a Xbox 360 or a Nintendo Wii. Both have a large game selection, and both are fun at parties if you have the right games. ok forget it I’m tired of typing. Just buy a xbox 360!!! Sure the Wii is fun at parties for like 24 minutes but really who wants plastic tennis rackets sitting around?!? Grab a 360 and 4 controllers and maybe some of these party titles: Rockband, Lips, Halo 3, COD4, Fusion Frenzy, Fusion Frenzy 2, Scene It, Trivial Pursuit… etc. I was going to hyperlink those but you can just google the name + xbox 360 and it will pull up. Plus Xbox 360 has a large arcade library that lets you buy and download games immediately.

Plus that is one sweet deal at Costco (six games included)!

Anyone else have some 2 cents?

I would just like to say that Hershey’s Mint Truffle Kisses are amazing. I like them way more than the Candy Cane Kisses, although those are decent as well! Dark chocolate just completely trumps white chocolate in my book. I really don’t know whether these Mint Truffle ones make their appearance only at Christmas time, so I will have to stock up! Can you tell they are my most recent addiction?!

I think movie people should make a movie, show this guy, let him make fun of it, and then do the final edit. He nailed this one! Thanks, How It Should Have Ended.com

Unfortunately, Rachel introduced me to the best ice cream ever and it is a-mazing. It goes by the name of Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream. I consider my being introduced to this ice cream to be “unfortunate” because I have only had ice cream like 3 times during my whole pregnancy and I wasn’t even missing it… Until now… It’s also quite unfortunate that this particular ice cream has 28 grams of fat per 1/2 cup, 11 grams of which are saturated. Yes, you read that correctly (mind you, a typical chocolate ice cream has a total of about 8 grams of fat per 1/2 cup). Basically I imagine that I am putting some sort of poison into my body when I eat this stuff. Despite all this, it is definitely the tastiest ice cream. Yeah thanks a LOT, Rach.  😉  But if I ever find out that my days to live are few, I will go buy a whole bunch of this Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream and eat it all day long! Just so you know.

I think that Sonic (fast food) commercials are the funniest! I especially like the most recent ones that have been on TV. They make me laugh every time– which is saying a lot, because I usually think that commercials are completely idiotic. But such is not the case with Sonic commercials! Anyone else feel the way I do about this?

I was going to put one on here from YouTube, but I mainly found homemade ones that people tried to do that weren’t funny at all. Also, frankly I’m scared of YouTube, because the 2 times I’ve tried to find videos on there, I came across some disturbing things. SO you’ll just have to watch TV (and not fast forward through the commercials) so you can experience some Sonic funniness!
