So since Joy is holding off posting her other psots, I’ll get techie and give a shout out to my favorite browser. Mozilla’s Firefox has released it latest version: 3.0. This new version features a couple of big changes. The rendering engine has been migrated to Gecko and memory usage has been optimized. As a bonus for all you Firefox lovers, or soon to be lovers, I have some custom icons to make you drool.
On a mac to use a .png file as icon do this:
- Open the .png file in Preview
- Press command-A to select the entire image
- Press command-C to copy the selection
- Control-Click on the file/folder you would like to change- click get info
- Click the icon (so there is a frame around it)
- Press command-V to paste the image into that
Done. Enjoy!
On a pc, download the .ico files and then right click on the app and say custmize, then navigate to the .ico file. Done. Enjoy!
