Some cool stuff for you MAc users out there. I was having some problem using my spaces function with Adobe apps open, lots of little weird errors. So I turned spaces off and then needed to conserve screen space. Found these great menu bar items to help out.
iTunes in Menu Bar via youcontrol – www.yousoftware.com/tunes/. Cool little guy that will put controls in your menu bar, can change the playlist and other stuff, also you get a cool notification of what song is playing.
The Official Gmail Notifier For Mac – Handier access to your gmail and gcal account, shows upcoming events and email preview.
I also put iChat into the menu bar and I like how you can put your buddy list in there so you don’t have to have it open all the time.
Good work Mac, if I had a huge wad of money fall from the sky I would buy one of you, but alas, I’ll just keep using you at work and keep loving my Vista boxes at home.

Don’t you wish you could instantly call dibs on an idea you had, and collect royalties? The headline: “Toyota to add solar panels to Prius hybrid” immediately grabbed my attention seeing how I was planning to make millions with this idea… but those small thinkers are planning on it only “powering the AC”… psshhhh if only they had my brain.
