For those of you who haven’t or can’t come visit Caroline, she wanted to talk to you.

Here’s Caroline!

In a week, she’ll be 4 months old.

She is 15.5 lbs. and is now into her 6-9 month clothes. She can’t wear leggings because her tummy is too big!

She’s been doing “tummy time” & doesn’t like it that much.

She likes watching her older siblings and smiling at them. She loves when Chase bounces & spins with her. She gets overwhelmed by Charlotte because Charlotte still gets right in Baby Sister’s face & squeaks at her.

She “talks” to us sometimes, especially when she’s getting a diaper change.

She’s starting to be interested in toys & grabs/ holds things and brings them to her mouth. She’s pretty drooly lately.

And I kiss her approximately 400 times per day.

She’s a smiley girl now! We can’t get enough of those huge, “gummy” smiles that brighten her whole face.

Snuggle bunch. I wrap her up & give her a binky when she’s ready to go to sleep. We both love that warm snuggle time! And of course, I love that sweet baby smell.

Pace is a great dad. Caroline used to look kind of bewildered when Daddy would nuzzle her and give her raspberries. But now she smiles & coos at him.

Time with Daddy is the best! He talks to Caroline and imitates her when she excitedly moves her head around like a little bobblehead.

Look at those chubby cheeks! That’s the #1 comment Caroline hears when people see her at church or anywhere else. We don’t mind it, because it’s true. She’s very chubby! She was 13 lbs. at her 2-month Dr. appointment (95th percentile) and 23” long (75th percentile). She’s a wonderful baby to have around!

I took a few photos right after Caroline’s bath yesterday. She really just wanted me to swaddle her and rock her to sleep rather than make her endure a photo shoot…

But I just can’t get enough of her chubs, her yummy scent, and her sweet disposition. She smiles at us (first “real” smile at 4 weeks), but they’re so fleeting, I haven’t captured a smile on camera yet. It will happen sometime!

She’s busy growing. She wears her 3-6 month clothes now. We love this baby!

These are the only ones I’ve taken lately!! She’s 6 weeks old now. Looks the same as when she was born, except chubbier! Still sweet & not fussy!

Not a great pic of me at all, but I wanted to show Caroline’s size. Chase was getting over the flu & Pace was sick with it. Rough weekend. I was paranoid—I’d leap out of bed whenever I heard anyone make a sound in the night! SOOOO glad no one else in the family got it!

Caroline is now 5 weeks old, but here are some sweet pictures that Rachel & Nathan took when Caroline was 2 weeks old (they were in town for the baby blessing). There are a lot of pictures, but I really selected just a few! I’m so glad they caught these tender moments for us with their fancy camera.
