This will most likely be charlottes favorite ride. đ

Charlotte Noel
Charlotte will be 18 months old this month. She has such sweet, kissable cheeks and beautiful blue eyes. She can be so funny and feisty, but is also pretty careful and reserved in new situations. Itâs fun to discover more about Charlotteâs personality as time goes on. Iâm so thankful to have this little girl!
I watch my sweet baby throughout the day, I hold her and smell her, and I donât want her to grow up because I adore her just the way she is right now.
I Just Think Sheâs Precious
I love this sweet little face. Charlotte often plays a game of tilting her head back and forth (she especially loves it if you play along).
I had brought in the tricycle for her to sit on because she really wanted to be outside, but I had to get that laundry folded while Chase was at Joy School.
Weâve been playing outside a lot of the day, because itâs been 55-60 degrees lately and itâs just wonderful outside.
Charlotte enjoys briefly cuddling with Chase on the couch when he watches a show.
I love how the family interaction and bonds increase as they get older. She really enjoys running around the house with Chase and gets so excited when âDada!â gets home from work.
She loves books and sheâll often look at one in bed right before she naps. Such a cuddlebunch with her blankie and binky!
So I really like this little girl. She’s fun to put to bed, unlike my other child who I love just as much. I have no preference, I promise. But if I get to choose, I pick to put Charlotte to bed.. here’s why:
Occasionally, Charlotte likes to put on this headband that Aunt Jessica gave her a while back. She usually wears it for a few seconds.
But then little Charlotte remembers that she doesnât like wearing it, so she whines about it.
At least sheâs a woman who knows how to take matters into her own hands!
All better.
No Offense, Uncle GinoâŚ
âŚBut Charlotte didnât enjoy trying on the old bomber jacket that you gave Chase a few years ago. As soon as I got it on her, Chase laughed and exclaimed, âShe looks like a boy!â
I guess weâll have to have another boy someday, just so it can be worn again! But that wonât happen until many, many years from now.
Mobile Mama
Weâre âentering the head wound stageâ (as my mom likes to call it), because Charlotte can walk now! She doesnât seem extremely interested in walking rather than crawling, but she does it occasionally. She loves walking with her bottle in both hands, and also doing some thigh-burning squats while sheâs standing around.
I love the goofy facial expressions this little girl makes, like when she scrunches her face up then puffs through her nose, or when she sticks her tongue out really far (just ask Aunt Jessica about that one)! Charlotteâs main words are still âuh-ohâ and âdad,â and she says âbapâ for bath. Lately she really despises diaper changes and veggies. She has also been a busy monkey, climbing things whenever she can, and just chillinâ up there for a while.
Charlotte got to move into Chaseâs big car seat after she turned one, so Chase got a booster seat! Luckily, it only cost $25 so it wasnât a big deal. (Notice that Chase had wrapped the seatbelt around the back in this photo, but the car wasnât moving yet!)
Now when we look in the rearview mirror, it seems like we have âtwo kidsâ rather than a kid and a baby! But Charlotte is certainly still a baby. I adore her sweet little face!
We are still pretty sleepless, but we have accepted it for now, and even have a sense of humor about it. Tonight Chase was screaming in bed a little while after he had gone to sleep, and Pace started singing a little song about how we love our kids, and how our kids hate sleep⌠And we both started cracking up about it! He always makes me laugh!
Luckily Rachel is getting married and therefore hasn’t faced rejection her entire life, but check out this video where Charlotte completely rejects Rachel on the high five. Classic.
Charlotte Noel = a One Year Old!
Charlotte turned one on December 27th! With both Chase and Charlotte, Iâve felt a sense of accomplishment when theyâve made it to age one, all in one piece. đ It might be partly because thatâs when I start to wrap up the nursing era, or because I think the sleep issues will come to an end. With Charlotte, I definitely feel like the time has flown by! Overall, Charlotte is a calm baby girl (unless sheâs screaming in the middle of the night) who really, really enjoys eating and drinking. A LOT.
She also currently likes to: be held, wave, empty the contents of my purse, say âuh-ohâ, smile contentedly, scream at Chase when he smothers her, pretend to talk on the phone, and âdriveâ things on the floor by pushing them around.
We love our sweet baby Charlotte!
