So the day we were leaving for NC back in June, I got a sweet phone call from my buddy who works at a local radio station. Actually a voicemail b/c we were busy packing up the van. On the way to the airport I called him back via the radio station’s phone #. He didn’t answer. So I gave up figuring it wasn’t a big deal. Then the phone rang and I heard, “KBULL, who’s this?”, I went on to be caller 13, how lucky!! Joy and I won Kenny Chesney tickets, which was very very cool. Hopefully we’ll get a babysitter and have a nice date. Otherwise the tickets might get sold. Either way, lets give a big bull thanks to JJ!!! Thanks man.

Every Wednesday in July Arby’s is giving me more of what I want, fat fat fat. Mmmmm that blessed fast food of the ancient greek gods. Arby’s is one of my favorite places to eat when someone else is buying, but not this month! This month I’ll be thinking about Arby’s on hump day because I might get something good for free. Here’s the break down:

• July 1st – Free beef & cheddar with drink purchase
• July 8th – Free Orange Creme Swirl Shake with sandwich purchase
• July 15th – Free Reg Roast Beef with drink purchase
• July 22nd – Free Roastburger with drink purchase

We are looking to hire 50 people, 25 for each day, to participate as audience members for a video shoot on December 18th and 19th at Tahitian Noni.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the authors and several of VitalSmarts’ master trainers. Each audience member will be paid $50/day to attend one of the following sessions:

Thursday, December 18th: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday, December 19th: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Attendees must be at least 21 years old and dress in business casual attire (Men: Dress slacks and dress shirt, Women: Dress slacks or skirt). Participants are subject to being filmed. Light snacks will be provided and they will have several breaks throughout the day including time for lunch (lunch will not be provided).

If you have friends or family members who are interested in this opportunity, please have them email me by Monday, December 8th at awalston@vitalsmarts.com with their name, phone number, and preferred day. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The plan has to be a solution that would lower the costs of healthcare, and improve overall quality of healthcare in the country.

Here is a great video about downsizing houses. While I think downsizing and optimizing space is a great idea, I think this might be a bit extreme. If you disagree, we’ve got a 16 x 18 foot plot in our backyard for sale. Give me your thoughts in the comments.

So I just found this site, owned by Ebay, called Kijiji. A competitor with craigslist, but definitely not as supported by my local people. I really like some of their features.

How do you buy/sell stuff online? You still pay ebay/amazon fees or have you switched to a free service?
