New blog feature, not spam!

There is a new feature at McBlog which allows you to “subscribe” to a post. By doing so you get an email whenever there is a new comment made to that post. Just check the box below the submit button after you write your comment. (Some of you might already have b/c I had it checked as a default, we do apologize for any un-expected emails)

UPDATE: You might notice a donation button on the right side, this is NOT a plee for money b/c we need it. This is simply an entertainment option. If this website, or the McCullochs in general entertain you then donate some money. If not, don’t. We are not in the need of any money or support, we just find donations fun. Thanks for understanding

New author(s)

Just a quick note to the fans of McBlog. Tyler has agreed to be an author, I asked him to post any funny stories that happen in NC that we miss, like Dad eating epsom salt, and anything else that’s useful. So watch for his first post coming soon. Cotton is still deciding on whether to be an author or not.

P.S. want to help me design a website? Let me hear your ideas in your comments

Apple Event, next week!

“Tuesday, members of the press received an invite to “come see some fun new products from Apple” on February 28 (more details here). Unlike many of the release events in the past couple of years, this latest enticement directs us to Apple’s Town Hall on the Cupertino campus. Recent rumors that the company filed a patent for a touch-screen interface for the iPod have fueled the buzz that a sixth-gen iPod is in the works. Is that what Apple will show off to the press next Tuesday?” What do you think?

New McBlog Features

Today I wanted to point out new features on McBlog. There are some new ways to stay on top of comments, I thought if I made it easier for everyone to see comments, then people would make more. On the right hand side bar there is a new box that captures the five most recent comments. And now under each post, there is a link that says expand comments, this way you can see if there have been any replies to what you said or just catch up on what’s going on without having to load the comment making page. Hope you enjoy the new features and I hope it will help generate comments from people I know read this but don’t ever comment (Dad, my inlaws, grandparents, etc)

Radiating Yourself

Have a cell phone? You’ll want to read this! Cnet just posted this interesting story ranking the radiation levels of cell phones. Is your cell phone on the list of the nations top 10? How bout the lowest 10? Values range from 1.55 as the highest (Motorola), and .12 from the lowest (Audiovox). Very interesting stuff to think about next time you shove that plastic case next to your head. Check it out here

Video game party

To whom it may concern: my latest bright idea is to have a pyramid sceme like party that involves me having alot of people over to play video games and whilst this is going on a local representative of the video game industry will try to force all who attend to purchase one or more of his overpriced games untill he meets a preset quota where he will begin to earn some money for his meager exsitence. I feel this sort of atmosphere is conducive to an excellent party if all my friends show up and buy something then I will earn a free game(probably sonic the hedgehog or mario).
