In an attempt to make themselves sound cool and useful, Cingular has released a new phone called the SLVR that cross breeds the RAZR and the ROKR. An ultra sleek phone that acts like an iPod and can do video. Hmm, who cares about that crap, can it recieve incoming calls?
Best Boxing Movie in 2006
Well the votes are in, and the winner is Annapolis! I know, I know.. the movie is called Annapolis, it takes place in America’s elite Naval School. I know the previews showed the struggle of a kid to become an officer. Well this movie isn’t about that. It’s a boxing movie that didn’t get released last year with the rest of the boxing movies, so it needed a front and money from a sponsor. So if you are in the mood for a really good boxing movie, go see Cinderella Man. If you want to see a movie about boxing with lots of really strong people running around, go see Annapolis. Hey Uncle Gary, you’re the only person that I would believe if you told me this place actually runs the way it’s portrayed in the movie. If you see it please let us all know how accurate it is, such as could the kid really almost quit that many times, is the brigade boxing match really that big of a deal, etc.
My Stinkular Phone
Well I would’ve written this yesterday but it was too late after I finished dealing with Cingular. After being cut off from Cingular’s tech support on Monday, I was urged strongly from Joy to try again. I called in around noon, at 4:30 I arrived home for the last time from the Cingular store. When all was said and done, I have a new phone a new sim card and STILL can’t recieve many incoming calls. The best they can figure land lines can get through but not other cell phoens. This was categorized as an unkown network phenomonon that was occuring with my phone number only. Hmmm, I wonder if it’s always policy for the NSA to cut off people’s incoming calls. Anyway, please be patient with me as Cingular fixes the network that only my phone number is on, if you need to get a hold of me, it will be best to call Joy’s phone which sits right next to mine most of the day, figure that one out.
Couldn’t Sleep
Well, I couldn’t sleep as usual, so I’m here to raise a discussion. What life long consequences would occur if we decided to spell Chase’s name differently. For example, Chace; Chayse; Chayce; Chaice; Chaise; Hmmm, what do you think?
Oh and for those of you video chat fans, check out this very imformative post Ryan just put up on ryeblog
Where’s the love BYU?
BYU has discontinued my email. I no longer have access to pace@byu.edu, don’t send any mail there anymore, because I won’t see it. BYU noticing that I’m not registered for classes this semester have cancelled my access to the mail servers. How lame! I mean, can’t the University have enough love to a) give me notice that my account will be shutdown b) just let me keep a byu email address for the rest of my life!? Anyway, good thing paceray@gmail.com and many others will be around forever…. google will be around forever won’t they? Please take note, Grandpa Lipps!
I love winning
Tonight, Darin and Nada came over for dinner. Afterwards we played Euchre as usual, and I’d like to announce that Darin and I SMOKED the women. Thank you very much.
What a good dad
A new video popped up on the internet today, it’s available at part of the McCulloch’s Website. To make things clear, the video was not to make fun of my dad in ANY way, it simply was a very convenient video clip. I was playing with the ability to convert video from within Flash. As you can see it worked very well, I’m very pleased and this means that when mcculloch.info goes live, it will prob include more video. So dad, please don’t take it personally that you are on the internet or get mad for some girly reason, I think it’s a good video that shows how you love to play with your kids and entertain people. Just wanted to say this in advance before anyone sees it.
Goodbye Friend
Well, in the name of anti-clutter, we sold our coffee table today. It was kinda sad for me since we had recieved it for free and McGowan and I sanded it and repainted it for Joy as a wedding present. It pulled in $25 and sold in less than 12 hours after being posted on craigslist.com. That is much better than the BYU board. I’m a big fan of craigslist now, and plan on selling other junk on there as well. So lets all take a moment of silence for the table which is probably at this time holding up the root beers of six roomies instead of hold my home cooked meals while I watch tv… Goodbye friend.
Baby Names (by Joy)
It’s a challenge for a couple to come up with a baby name that they both enjoy for their child. This is what I have discovered, having a little “bun in the oven” and all. I always figured that I, being the extremely tasteful woman that I am, would come up with some names, and my husband would veto any that he didn’t like, and that I would end up making the executive decision. But alas, there are only 2 names that we both like.
After much deliberation, we have tentatively decided to name our pending child Chase. Chase James McCulloch, that is. Our #2 choice of name is Max. Pace has said that he wants to see the baby first before we make a definite decision on the name, but I personally don’t think that will help much, because newborn babies are always just red and wrinkly and don’t really look like what they will look like for the rest of forever. At least you HOPE they won’t always look like that…
The A-Team
iTunes has been adding video content very consistently for a while now, they just added Nickalodeon, MTV crap, and Disney shows. While checking it out I saw the A-team!!! Available for download, only $1.99 an episope… if only money grew on trees so we could all own the A-team and watch em whenever we wanted. I thought about buying it and justifing it as training videos for the baby, because I’d love for him to know all the stuff the A-team knows. Another tempting show is the Alfred Hitchcock vintage collection, seems like those could fill any boring nights. So I thought I’d let any rich bored people know that entertainment awaits on iTunes.
