Thank you Grandma and Grandpa T for the amazing grill you got me for my birthday. We will enjoy it very much, we’ve already cooked amazing burgers and chicken. The BBQ tools you sent will are also greatly appreciated!!! Your kindness is far beyond what is expected. Everyone is welcome to come over and test out this awesome BBQ (you bring the meat, I’ll bring the BBQ)

Sorry Darin, just had to talk about this one… so there is a rumor going around that Locke did NOT blow up the sub last week! If you’ve heard more please elaborate but here is a sequence of screen shots to support this theory. They say he was wet, which I did ask out loud, because he took the sub somewhere else then swam back and blew up the dock.

Why did we make electronics so fragile? I was setting up my work computer to work as a DVR via windows media center. As I was plugging in the tv tuner card, I got a shock on my finger, a very small one mind you but a shock none the less meaning I had generated electricity from my leg hair rubbing the carpet plus dry air, and bam two seconds later my computer shuts itself off… and smells funny. Now I’ve had computers shut off before and that’s never a problem but when a computer starts smelling like a toaster… THAT’S NEVER GOOD! So a day and plenty of anger later I’ve pulled what important files I could remember off the HD and sent it off to HP for a manufacturers warranty replacement of the mother board, which brings me to the ranting part…
Upon my trial and error test and deciding finally that I should take it to the Geek squad to confirm that I was right. Upon getting to the Geek Squad I was greeted with no smile, no love, and a guy who said yeah it’s probably your motherboard, or your processor. I said you sell motherboards? No he said comp usa does. So off to Comp USA, there I found Adam, happy and not wearing a geek uniform. He told me it would be silly for it to be the processor (whew, big price diff between board and cpu) and then he said hey is it under warranty.. I said huh? He scanned a number and five seconds later he told me they would fix it for free, only problem is it would have to be there a week and it might have to have the HD wiped clean… well thank you nerd squad, you were much much more helpful than the Geek Squad!
We watched Zoom last night, a Disney Sony movie that is based on the kid super hero stuff. It was very funny (if you’re 2 or very tired), it had a ton of famous people, and I gather it was one of those where actors have to make x number of movies for a movie company in a year so how about we cram everyone into this one so we can count it as one. It was 200% cheesy and we usually laughed b/c of over the top cheese. One more important thing, Tracy stars in this movie. It was freaky weird sometimes how much this girl looked like Tracy.
These are too cute not to mention, there are two new McVideos to watch… check em out!

HAHAHA”

We wanted to tell ya’ll what a great weekend we had. A big thank you to Amanda for babysitting Chase!!! Friday I went golfing with Darin the elder’s quorum pres. And he beat me badly, but at least he paid! Then I cleaned the house while Joy watched Wife Swap.. Saturday we all went to the park and met Yancy, and Bob & Emily. Yancy, Bob, Emily and I played disc golf while Joy and Chase played on the playground. It was tons of fun especially since I won the disc golf. Yes you can watch for a new trophy coming to the trophy case! After Cotton visited for a car wash we went to a ward St Patrick days dinner where they had extra food so I got to eat a lot. Then we played games and had a great time, we played the German game, RAGE which is just like another card game we’ve played that no one remembered the name.. anyway.
