Why were homes ever created with gas appliances? I hate gas. Last night our heater’s pilot light went out at 2am after Chase had been up and down. I had to go downstairs in the freezing cold and re-light the stupid thing that keeps going out. It’s SO stupid why not have an electric thing that lights everytime it needs to like a spark plug. Sheesh STUPID!
Tomorrow (Halloween) we’re having a Halloween party at our new home! Please come for a good time. Chase will be dressed as a ninja. Call or email if you want directions to the place of fun and games and happiness! And Happy Halloween!
I found GreenMyApple.com today and I thought it was awesome; Mainly the Apple spoof ad with “my brother from another mother”. After chuckling and then clicking on a few links including the “Tell Steve” link, I got to thinking, hey they are right! Computer makers should take responsibility for the materials used to make their product. I also found the campaign history very interesting, larger companies such as Dell, Sony, LG, and Samsung have all committed to getting rid of hazardous waste materials, while Apple only takes the Greenpeace guys out to dinner.

Last weeks lost didn’t do much, it showed us a few things.
1.) Loch isn’t exactly the goody good hero we thought of him as. He picks up and undercover cop as a hitchhiker and takes him back to his “home” where they are growing some MARIJUANA. (Marijuana whatever I don’t know the exact drug)
2.) There’s still a polar bear on the island, and it likes to eat Eko.
Annndd that’s about it. Loch saved Eko from a polar bear, and Loch knew that the polar bear took him because he went into his lil hut thing, got high, and had a “vision”
This weeks lost. Showed us a lot of Sawyer, how he was in jail earlier, conned a fellow inmate out of 10 million, to get himself out of jail, and donated some of the money to his new discovered daughter, as long as the donation remained anonymous.
1.) Jack was brought in to help save the “other” who got shot but couldn’t do it, and she died.
2.) Kate and Sawyer now know that Jack is alive.
3.) Sawyer is easily fooled into thinking he has a pacemaker inside of him, when he really doesn’t. Which keeps him under control for a good while.
4.) Kate can possibly escape when she wants too, but it’s doubtful she’d get very far. (BECAUSE there are TWO islands, one where the survivors are, and one where the “others” are. The distance between them is more than alcatraz, so there is no hope of getting home.
5.) X-rays on the wall showed that somone (supposively Ben) has a tumor on their spine, and jack just happens to be a spinal suergeon. hmmm.
In my opinion, Lost started with a disappointing season opening, but looks like it is slowly getting better. However I would like to see less of Kate and Sawyer, and more of Jack, and more of the other survivors.

First of all, I just wanted to mention that it’s snowing here today! Pace called it last night because it was a nice warm day, with warm nighttime breezes, which sometimes precede a snowy day. Yay Pace! (Utilities bills, here we come!)
Yes, we are close to being all moved in! And we love this new place. True, it is 12 years old, but it’s new to us and it’s a mansion compared to our 1-bedroom apt. we just left behind. We have to go clean that place before the 31st to get part of our deposit back, and it seems like such a chore just to set foot in that place of the past! But I am so grateful to TMom and TDad who got us a gorgeous, brand new washer and dryer, with pedestals and everything. And the best part is that they’re INSIDE our house! No more leaving Chase behind to lug the baskets to the apartment complex across the street to “illegally” pay to do our laundry there! They also got us a Roomba, so we’re trying that out and so far I think it’s amazing. And to top it all off, Pace is loving his “man room” downstairs with the hugest TV ever and the new leather sectional couch! So our neighborhood is quiet and charming, our ward is loving and friendly, and the chapel is only a few blocks away, as well as two parks for Chase! No, we aren’t bragging, just counting our many blessings and feeling very grateful!!!
Joy recently picked up a pair of couches off of craigs list. We cleaned them yesterday, we were shocked and awed at the amount of goodies in the cracks. Chase now has a full set of crayons, and we have a remote control to a dvd player… hopefully Joy will post some pictures.
The season is now half way over, everyone will play each other one more time and then we will start the playoffs to
determine a champion. Consider this my announcement that this is a CHAMPIONSHIP PACE!

UPDATE: We are moved in, and un packing. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED!!! We are so excited to be here. We hope Pace’s job sticks around so we can still afford to live here. 🙂 I think Joy will have the place looking like home sooner rather than later.
