This week, I’ve been preparing for the day that Chase will be able to play video games with me. I have found a great site that provides links to old game system emulators, such as Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega. Along with many, many game titles on those respective systems. This is great, now I can play all my old favorites right on my computer, and my son can join in the fun with me! Of course, that’s until some kid at school tells him that these are all old games and the new 340 bit virtual reality games are at his house… little punk kid, why did you have to shatter my dreams!? Anyway, I still find it incredibly entertaining to play the games that are responsible for my short temper (Mega Man) and problem solving genius (Shadowgate). Anyway if you are feeling an 8 or 16 bit craving, check out the site and jump on some mushrooms with legs. Hey Dad, bet I can save the princess before you this time! (I am not responsible for any content contained on the site, you should always be extremely careful when downloading executable files to your computer!) What youthful games, if any, shaped your personality?
Hello again, we are back after a long eventful week. We’ve been busy with work, Chase, helping people, Chase, finding money to buy a town home, Chase, family, Chase, and taking care of the baby. We are really excited to have our families in town. Why are they in town you ask? Well tom is the day we bless Chase. He is very excited, and so are we. Just wanted to post something, will post more later.
Well, it’s been a very eventful Saturday, it was absoultely beautiful here in Provo. Yesterday, we setup a new queen sized bed that we inherited from the late Uncle Don (on Joy’s side). Today, Darin and I hit the golf course area to practice our chipping and putting (that’s free), Chase had his first bath (video MPEG 7MB), and he loved it, excpet when it was time to get out. And our offer to buy Amy and Mike’s townhome was accepted! Woo hoo. We are very excited to get all the paper work done and be investing in real estate. We feel it’s a great place to put our efforts. So all and all it’s been a great weekend. We are excited for all the family fun coming up in the next week. Love ya’ll have a great sabath. PS For those of you who wish there were more pictures of Chase to see, there are now.

Balderdash rules (for those who’ve never played): “The main objective is to make up answers that will bluff other players, as well as for choosing the real and often unbelievable answer. ONE per person. NO SEARCH ENGINES!
WORDS- What is the definition?
PEOPLE – What is the person known for?
INITIALS- What do they stand for?
MOVIES- What is this movie about?
DATES- What happend on this day?”
This Tuesday is a great day, it’s free cone day at Ben and Jerry’s. Starting at noon, all the ice cream you can eat for free, as long as the line is short. So it would be a great idea for families and friends, employees and employers (hint hint) to go to Ben & Jerry’s as often as possible on Tuesday! Have fun and don’t get fat!
Chase update: He’s doing great.
This is just another story to express how some people are losing their minds. Today i was woken up by my mom, telling me I needed to get ready for church. My dad had already left to go speak in another ward. So trusting my mothers decision, i got up and got ready for church in 15 minutes. I then went down and read the comics, had two bowls of cereal, then my mom was ready to go. We drive up to church and I go in, since i needed to prepare the sacrement and all, while my mom checked her hair, did some last minute things in the car mirror before going in. I get into church to find people i didnt know sitting in the lobby, I quickly looked in the chapel door to see the other ward still having sacrement meeting. I was shocked. Could they have gone this late? I took out my cell phone looking at the time realizing it was ten o clock, which jarred my memory.. Doesnt our ward start at eleven? I went back outside and told my mom who was just now ready to come in, and we laughed about it, she told me she was losing her mind, and we drove home. I then took the time to write this. It was quite an odd experiance.
For those of you proud great/grandparents/friends out there who want to make mouse pads, desktops, calendars, etc., you can download high-resolution picts now. Plus we added a few more. Thanks for all the support and love. We’re excited to report that Chase lost his belly button chunk yesterday and he is drinking milk now. He’s very mellow, lets hope that continues through his teenage years!
We are very happy to have Momma T here. She arrived last night and I had the best night of sleep since Chase arrived. Didn’t hear Chase one time! I realized how true the saying is that it takes a village to raise a kid. It sure is a lot more comfortable having someone who knows tricks of the trade around. Thanks Momma T!
